1. What This Covers

This policy explains what information TradeLaneHub collects when you browse the site, register a business account, submit a listing, send an enquiry through the "Get Matched" form or a listing's contact form, or make a payment.

2. Information We Collect

Visitors: When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email, phone number (if provided), and message. We also collect standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) for security, fraud prevention, and basic analytics.

Business accounts: When you register or submit a listing, we collect your login email, contact person name, company name, phone/WhatsApp number, address, and any content you upload for your listing (photos, service selections, descriptions).

Payments: Payments are processed by PayPal or Razorpay. We store the transaction amount, currency, gateway, and status, but we do not receive or store your full card or bank details — those are handled directly by the payment processor.

3. How We Use Information

• To operate the directory — showing listings, routing enquiries to the right business, and managing accounts.
• To send transactional emails — enquiry notifications, listing status updates, payment receipts, and renewal reminders.
• To review listings for accuracy and policy compliance before they go live.
• To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse (including reCAPTCHA and rate limiting on public forms).
• To improve the site based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns.

We do not sell visitor or business contact information to third parties.

4. When Information Is Shared

When you submit an enquiry through a listing or "Get Matched," your name, contact details, and message are shared with the specific business or businesses you're enquiring with, so they can respond to you directly. We also share information with service providers who help us run the site — payment processors (PayPal, Razorpay), email delivery, and reCAPTCHA (Google) — solely to provide those services, and we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of TradeLaneHub or others.

5. Cookies and Sessions

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). We don't use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and listing data for as long as an account is active, and enquiry/lead records for as long as reasonably needed for support, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us — see Section 8.

7. Your Choices

You can review and update most of your business account information directly from your dashboard at any time. You can also request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us.
